BlastBall and T-Ball
At Forest Glen, we introduce our youngest players to BlastBall. This format teaches players the fundamentals of hitting, catching and running in a fun way. The game involves 5 or 6 players per team, which keeps everyone moving and interested. In the beginning, the only rule is that everyone gets a chance to hit, everyone plays and no score is kept. As the season progresses and the players' skills develop, more baseball 'rules' are introduced, preparing players to move on to the next level.
T-Ball involves 8 to 10 players per team. All players have the opportunity to hit in each inning and 6 take up fielding positions on a rotational basis. Scores are kept and all teams make it into the playoffs.
We will celebrate the end of the season with a Field Day. During the Field Day, players will participate in skills events and enjoy lunch. At the end of Field Day, each player will receive a team photo, an individual photo and a participation award.

Rookie Ball
Players at this level will be introduced to a ball delivered from a pitching machine. This ensures a consistency in the pitching while players learn the fundamentals of hitting a moving target.
Each team is made up of 10 to 13 players. In each inning, 11 players have the opportunity to hit and 10 take up fielding positions on a rotational basis. Scores are kept and all teams make it into the playoffs.

MBA 'AA' (Select) Baseball
The 'AA', or Select, Level is a more competitive level of baseball for players aged from 10 to 21. Forest Glen teams play regularly against Select teams from other associations in the Mississauga area and occasionally travel to weekend tournaments in other parts of southern Ontario. Players must "try out" for positions on these teams and those not selected are welcome to play for the association at the 'A' Level. Teams that win the City Championships go on to represent Forest Glen and the City of Mississauga at the Select Ontario Baseball Association ("SOBA") Provincial Championships. Registration fees are higher for players at the 'AA' (Select) Levels to offset the costs of higher quality uniforms.
