FGBA Headlines
Umpires : The FGBA continues to support its umpires by subsidizing the costs of participating in qualifying Umpires' Clinics.

History : The Forest Glen Baseball Association has been operating for 44 years.  
2012 Pee Wee/Bantam Select Tournament : The FGBA will host its annual Pee Wee/Bantam Select Tournament on the weekend of June 1 to 3, 2012.
Individual and Team Photos : Individual and Team Photos will be taken on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

2012 Summary of Levels of Play...

Play is offered to children and youths aged from 4 years to 21 years (based upon players' ages as of December 31 of the year of play), at the following levels:
 

  • BlastBall (4 to 5 years old -- years of birth 2006 and 2007)
  • T-Ball (6 to 7 years old -- years of birth 2004 and 2005)
  • Rookie Ball (8 to 9 years old -- years of birth 2002 and 2003)
  • Tyke (10 to 11 years old -- years of birth 2000 and 2001)
  • Pee Wee (12 to 13 years old -- years of birth 1998 and 1999)
  • Bantam (14 to 15 years old -- years of birth 1996 and 1997)
  • Midget (16 to 18 Years old -- years of birth 1993, 1994 and 1995)
  • Junior (19 to 21 years old -- years of birth 1990, 1991 and 1992)

 

Select ('AA') play is offered to more skilled players at all levels from Tyke to Midget, while only Select ('AA') play is available at the Junior level.  Select ('AA') play requires a much higher level of commitment from players, coaches and parents.
