   T-Ball

T-Ball involves 10 to 13 players per team.  11 players have the opportunity to hit in each inning and 9 take up fielding positions on a rotational basis.  Scores are kept and all teams make it into the playoffs.  Games are approximately 1.5 hours in length.  Forest Glen has entered into an interlock arrangement with Bloordale Baseball Association, our neighbours in Etobicoke.   Therefore, games are played at Garnetwood South Park and Forest Glen Park (next to Glen Forest Secondary School), and Mill Valley (Mill Road just north of Burnhamthorpe Road).  The 2008 regular season will begin on or about May 6, with games played on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings until the end of June, and on Tuesday nights thereafter.  Playoffs will take place in September.   We will celebrate the season with a Field Day on Saturday, August 9, 2008.  During the Field Day, all teams will participate in skills events and enjoy lunch.  At the end of Field Day, each player will receive a team photo, an individual photo and a participation award.
