Lorraine keeps the players and parents of FGBA informed of what
we’ve accomplished and dates, times, and locations we should
mark on our calendars, by preparing and distributing newsletters.
The team parent program is coordinated by Lorraine ensuring that
each team has a key contact for information. She is committed
to ensuring that all the special events hosted by FGBA are effectively
executed, planning social outings like the Day at the Blue Jays,
and skills development opportunities such as the coaching clinics.
Another key responsibility for Lorraine is organizing fundraising
efforts such as the lottery draw, reminding everyone of the upcoming
draw date and collecting tickets, and arranging raffles at the field
days, obtaining prizes and ensuring tickets are available throughout
the events. Lorraine is a key contributor in the delivery
of food and excitement at the field days as well. |
